As of June 5, 2024, the current Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) in India is 4.5%.
The CRR is a percentage of cash that banks must keep on deposit with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The RBI uses the CRR as a monetary policy tool to control the money supply in the economy.
