The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. was awarded the Greentech Safety Management Award 2012 by Greentech Foundation.
The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. was awarded the gold trophy of Greentech Safety Management Award 2012 in an award function during the Greentech Foundation's Fire, Safety and Security 2012 Conference held at Srinagar, India.
A K Hazarika, Director (Onshore) and Anoop Kumar, ED-Chief HSE received the award at the function from R.C.Nayyar, IAS, Principal Secretary, Labour & Employment, Government of Punjab.
ONGC was short listed and after presentation of ONGC's safety initiatives and achievements before the award committee comprising of eminent panelists; ONGC Delhi in the Corporate Category was selected for the gold trophy of safety management award.
During the award function A K Hazarika, Director (Onshore) was also honoured with Greentech Iconic Leader 2012 award for his rich contribution towards environmentally sustainable business development.
Greentech Foundation works at promoting education, training, research and dissemination of knowledge, advancing the scientific, technical and practical aspects of safety at work place, environment protection and climate change. The awards recognise, reward, and promote exceptional goals in the field of safety and all positive aspects of environmental responsibilities.
